What should I bring to the Havan?
All participants are welcome to bring their own Hanuman Chalisa booklet or personal copy for chanting. Chinmaya Mission will provide seating, havan materials and essential amenities at the venue. You may wish to bring a water bottle and a cushion or mat for added comfort. Above all, bring an open heart and a spirit of devotion to fully embrace the sacred ceremony.
Is the event open to non-Hindus or those new to Chinmaya Mission?
Yes. Everyone is welcome, regardless of faith or background. Hosted by Chinmaya Mission, this universal gathering invites all to share in strength, devotion and collective peace. No prior association with Chinmaya Mission is required.
Do I need to register in advance?
Advance registration is encouraged to ensure seating, Havan materials and prasad are arranged for all participants. Walk-ins are welcome subject to space availability. Please check the event listing for registration details and plan accordingly.
How can I volunteer for the event?

Is there a dress code or specific attire recommended for the Havan?
Participants may choose traditional Indian attire, such as kurta-pajama, saree or salwar-kameez. Clothing should be modest, comfortable for seated ceremonies and respectful of the event's spiritual setting.
